Today
most people learn how to swim in a pool. Like these images displays,
it can start from an early age. You might ask yourself: How can
a baby look so happy beneath the surface? In fact water is our
most wellknown environment when born, since we all have been swimming
for about 9 months in our mother, before we were born. Fear of
water is something we "learn" from our surroundings,
typically our parents. A special bodyreflex automatically closing
our breathingways when submerged into water. This reflex will
stay, if keept used to the water, otherwise it will disappear
in a few months.
